Welcome! I am Andrea, and I want to introduce you to my blog, ITALIA GIOIOSA. Its goal is to inform, raise awareness, and propose valid initiatives to change the existing model of capitalism. A capitalism that, through the deregulation of global trade, has fostered the rapid growth of corporations—economic giants that influence the political, social, economic, and cultural life of Western societies, as well as countries in Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia, which are constantly being stripped of their resources. This psychopathic way of acting by multinational corporations produces evident repercussions and distortions in the market, both in Western countries, where small and medium-sized enterprises suffer, and in the so-called "Global South," where we witness increasing poverty, inequality, corruption, wars, and pollution. A constant injection of models of extreme competition, ambition, greed, cunning, and the subjugation of others is taking place across societies worldwide—all driven by the pursuit of wealth accumulation, but always for the benefit of the few at the expense of the vast majority of the global population. This capitalism aims to enrich a small number of people, creating "waste" in the form of ever more unhappy individuals. The poor and the weakest are the ones excluded from this system that disregards people, values, and culture. Through my blog, I aim to recover those experiences, values, and virtuous, bold practices that strive to place the achievement of a happy and authentic life for all at the center.
